Dimensioning in Revit is painful: endless tabbing through overlapping elements and clicking precise references one by one. The Dimensionator replaces your workflow by allowing you to simply draw lines where you want your dimensions instead. It handles all the reference picking for you by determining what your drawn detail lines intersect with.

Configure element filters to specify what element categories should be dimensioned. Include/exclude elements in linked files with a single toggle. Custom families are supported too: any generic model with an IFC Export Category set is treated the same as its native equivalent.

Overlapping dimension text is rearranged automatically, keeping every value clearly readable without manual adjustment.

Integrate with Excel to edit parameters projectwide with fast bulk updates. Import Excel files to apply all values found on the selected sheet for parameters in the current profile. Export all profile parameter values in a document to Excel, edit the spreadsheet as needed, then import it to apply those values across the project.
